Ramza & Cannon’s wedding day was unique. Our team did the wedding photography for the day. Full of joy and excitement, everything was organized perfectly- their wedding in Richmond Virginia had every detail taken care of. I took photos of their wedding for hours, trying to capture every moment. Their style of wedding photography was very unique. They had a wedding band that played upbeat music, and even had Cannon escorted down the aisle by her 7-year-old daughter- who excitedly shouted “This is so exciting!” Everyone eagerly waited in anticipation for Ramza’s entrance- when he finally arrived at the wedding in Richmond Virginia, everyone was cheering and excited.
It was early in the morning when all of the bridesmaids and wedding parties arrived at the wedding in Richmond Virginia. The hairstylist and makeup artist had already set up their bridal wedding preparation supplies, ready to pamper Ramza as she got ready- excitedly waiting for her turn to get her hair and makeup done. Their wedding in Richmond Virginia had a relatively small guest list, which made it easier on them- they didn’t have to worry about trying to fit everyone in one wedding venue. They got ready in the same wedding venue that they were getting married and had their wedding reception at- it was a beautiful wedding barn. Once Ramza was all done with her hair and makeup, she went to take these amazing wedding shots of her bridal wedding preparation before everyone else arrived.
We just love this one of Ramza’s bridal wedding prep wedding portraits- it just glows! When the wedding photographer arrived, they all were extremely excited to get started. While Ramza and the wedding party girls got ready inside of the wedding venue, Cannon was off getting dressed elsewhere in another building- they had decided to do a joint ceremony instead of having two separate wedding ceremonies so that everyone could all be together for the wedding. Cannon was waiting with the wedding officiant at a designated spot where they would try to do their best to see each other before the wedding- though they figured it probably wasn’t going to happen since wedding photographers were usually blocking one of them, or Ramza and her wedding party had left for some of these moments.
This wedding dress was so beautiful- it was truly a wedding gown for the ages. The wedding photographer tried to get some shots of the back of her wedding dress as well- it was just as gorgeous as the front, if not even more so! It looked amazing from all angles- this wedding dress had such great movement and flow. The dress was made of beautiful silk and the structured bodice gave way to a cascading skirt. This choice of wedding dress was perfect for such an outdoor wedding! The wedding dress details- like the lace, the hand bead-work, and the silhouette were stunning. Getting the wedding dress on was no easy feat- I’m not sure how she managed to get it on, but the end result was a stunning and beautiful wedding dress. The train was long and flowing- and really added a great effect to the shots! Ramza’s grandparents were so happy to see their granddaughter in such a fine wedding dress. This wedding gown was truly one-of-a-kind and I have to say, this is the prettiest wedding dress I’ve seen. The dress came from the awesome team at Anne Gregory’s Couture Bridal. I’m pretty sure their wedding dress designers are just geniuses! One of my favorite details was how the lace of her wedding gown accentuated her arms- it made for some really stunning wedding photography.
The bride’s shoes for her wedding day were pretty cool- they had some nice heels to them that gave Ramza a boost of height. They were metallic silver and really paired well with the wedding dress’ color. It was quite interesting actually because I’m not used to seeing such shiny material being used for bridal footwear- it just goes to show how versatile materials can be sometimes! Wedding photography!
I’m not sure which designer made Ramza’s wedding shoes, but I do remember that the front of her bridal wedding shoes had some kind of buckle detailing- it was pretty simple, but I think that’s why everyone really loved it. These bridal wedding shoes were definitely some very fine footwear and they added to the overall look of Ramza’s wedding ensemble. Some of Ramza’s bridesmaids joined her in wearing metallic silver heels to match the wedding dress color. After the wedding party photos were taken, it was finally time for the wedding ceremony to begin- and boy, was this wedding ceremony something special! The way the sun lit her shoes up was just amazing- I wish I could have captured the wedding shoes in that golden wedding light forever.
The selection of jewelry Ramza wore for her wedding day was nothing less than stunning! I remember some of the wedding guests being impressed with the wedding ring-bearers wedding jewelry as well. Ramza’s wedding jewelry included a necklace, earrings, and a beautiful wedding headband that went perfectly with the wedding dress’ overall look. These were all hand-sewn pieces that were custom-made for the wedding day. Ramza had used the wedding jewelry service of Bellissima Jewelers to help her find some wedding jewelry that was special and unique to her- I’m actually surprised because the wedding band she got fit her so perfectly! That made some good wedding photography. I think it’s safe to say that Ramza and Cannon really know how to pick wedding jewelry. Her mother helped to sew the wedding headband and wedding jewelry together for the wedding day.
Ramza got her wedding band from the Wedding Ring Shop. Since she had wanted a wedding band that was dainty in its design, she picked out several wedding bands from this site before deciding on one. The wedding ring she ultimately chose was a wedding ring that had a Celtic wedding band pattern. This wedding ring could have been passed off as one whose wedding jewelry design was dated, but the wedding dress and wedding day looks totally modernized it. It looked like Ramza picked an old wedding theme but did some really cool stuff with it to make it look fashionable!
Cannon’s sister served as the matron of honor for their wedding day, and her bridesmaids wore yellow dresses that were classy in their own right. Their choices of wedding jewelry fit perfectly with the wedding jewelry that Ramza chose since theirs was also understated. However, I noticed that they changed up their earrings- each of them got a wedding earring that was more formal than the wedding earrings that Ramza got. I think they did this so as not to detract from Ramza’s wedding day jewelry but also dress up a bit for the wedding day! Capturing moments like that is why we love wedding photography.
Each bridesmaid who accompanied Ramza on her wedding day had a dress that fit their body type and personality very well. All of them looked gorgeous in these wedding dresses, and all of them were free to dance at will throughout the wedding reception. They didn’t have to worry about stepping on their wedding dresses, and since all of them could move around easily in them, they were able to really cut loose at the reception! seems like it would be hard to find wedding dresses that fit this description, but I think it’s safe to say that a wedding dress shop is a place where you can get wedding dresses like these.
Cannon and Ramza looked perfect for each other on their wedding day. They had a unique wedding theme- one that was based around Celtic wedding art! That said, they didn’t go too over-the-top with the wedding jewelry or anything else. Instead, they made simple changes here and there so as to make their wedding theme look cool and hip! I felt lucky to have been able to shoot their wedding day because nobody does wedding photography in Richmond VA like me!
I remember seeing Cannon’s wedding tuxedo in person- what a fine-looking groom he was with his wedding suit on! His hair was so perfectly done, and I’m pretty sure every wedding photographer that day was trying to get shots of him. It was definitely a wedding photographer’s dream wedding. The wedding tuxedo was from Men’s Warehouse and he looked fabulous in it! Cannon was handsome in his grey suit. The groom wore a white button-up shirt, which contrasted nicely with the dark jacket. The Groom looked dashing in his tuxedo. He kept a low profile as he entered the ceremony, but once the formalities were over he relaxed and had some fun with his groomsmen. We captured some amazing wedding photography moments.
The wedding party was very fun and included some very illustrious men in Ramza’s life- her grandfather, uncle, and brother. I think it was really adorable that Cannon and Ramza decided to include their family units into the wedding party itself- it just shows how much they value their families and want them as part of everything! The tuxedo came from Men’s Warehouse and they looked really dapper!
As the wedding photographer started to get some shots of this Richmond VA wedding venue, he noticed all the different details that went into decorating it: the flowers, the trees… everything was lush and green. He knew that there would be lots of great opportunities for photos at this place! The Westin Hotel wedding venue was a place that he wanted to capture at its best. And when the wedding ceremony started, it took his breath away! At first, he was hoping for a bit of sun to cast some shadows on the ground. But after the ceremony, he realized that another kind of light came through: a soft pink hue that gave an otherworldly glow to everything it touched! The staff was great, and the Westin Hotel wedding was perfectly executed. It couldn’t have been any better!
Ramza & Cannon had their wedding reception at the Westin hotel in Richmond VA and it went off without a hitch. There were no complaints as they cut the cake, and everybody even had enough wedding food to go around. The reception venue was spacious, and everybody even got a chance to thank the wedding couple as they gave their speeches throughout the wedding ceremony. It’s not every day that you get to see a wedding like this one! As Richmond VA wedding photographers, we were able to capture the memories of this Westin hotel wedding with his professional DSLR camera and even got a few photos of Ramza & Cannon’s breakdancing guests!
As the day came to an end, everybody was getting tired (even some of the grouchy people) but eventually they all made their way outside. They knew it could get colder than this, so they waited for everyone in their fancy cars before leaving for good. And as he said goodbye, he felt satisfied that another successful event had come to fruition. He snapped one last photo before driving away and looked back one more time at the Westin Hotel where Ramza & Cannon held their memorable Richmond VA wedding.
I love shooting weddings in Richmond VA. There are so many wedding venues in the area, and each one is different from one another. I think it’s really cool when couples look at wedding photographers near me who shoot weddings for other people (like Ramza & Cannon). Everybody wants those perfect wedding photos- especially since these will be used for the rest of their lives after the wedding day is over! Ramza & Cannon looked great on their wedding day, but I
The wedding day was a fun wedding to take photos of and it just went by so quickly! I can’t wait to go back for the wedding album design. My main goal is to tell the story of the wedding day through images- every moment, every emotion, in-between moments. We try our best to make that happen on wedding days and especially with Ramza & Cannon’s wedding in Virginia! I’m looking forward to designing an amazing wedding photo album for them! A wedding photographer is always thinking about their next shoot or job- we’re hoping you’ll love these photos as much as I enjoyed photographing them! Ramza & Cannon- happy wedding planning, you two
