Anyone who’s been to enough weddings knows that anything can happen whether it be good or bad. The best thing to do is try to be prepared. Having everyone on the same page with schedules printed & emailed to the parties and vendors will help smooth the day out. As long as people have a copy of the schedule ideally there should not be any major issues.
One thing that you can practice is a rehearsal. Practicing the wedding ceremony with your wedding party and some of the vendors the day before or a few days before the wedding can make a huge difference. There are people in the world that learn best through hands-on experiences and a wedding rehearsal is the best way to test everyone including yourself to assure everyone is on the same page.
Countless times I have attended weddings a guest and photographer only to realize no one really knew the order of the ceremony, which songs to play in order, or who should walk first. This can turn into a total disaster if you are not careful.
Don’t take a chance on your wedding day. Be as prepared as possible and rehearse your wedding. Trust me you will find out how many people on your team really knows what is going on. I hope this information was helpful and congratulations!
